Having trouble uploading your high resolution image files?
There is an easy fix. Images uploaded to the Roambler Website have to be under 1MB. Most images have a file size higher than 1MB and will need to be resized before uploading to your Profile or Listing. You can still use your best images and they will still look great. Simply resize the image file before uploading.
Keep in mind that cropping your photo will not change the file size of your image. It will only change the dimensions and pixels. Your images file size needs to be changed before uploading.
Your image file size is measured in Kilobytes (KB) or Megabytes (MB), where 1MB is equal to 1000KB. Use this file size measurement as a reference to edit your photo to under 1MB or under 1000KB during the photo resize process prior to uploading your photo(s).
Resizing from your phone:
Download a photo resizing application of your choosing
Select the photo(s) you want to add
Resize the photo(s) to under 1MB or under 1000KB
Rename the file, save, and upload to your Profile or Listing
Resizing from your computer:
Use your built in Photo Editor for resizing
Select the photo(s) you would like to add
Select Resize in editor and resize to under 1MB or under 1000KB
Rename the file, save, and upload to your Profile or Listing
